phpslide
I was really pissed off at everybody using M$ PowerPoint for their presentations, so I wrote a little programm that allows you to easily create
pretty nice presentations and present them using only your web browser.
It has several advantages:
- everybody with a little knowledge of html (headlines, line breaks, lists, images) can use it
- no proprietary software needed for creating and viewing, just any text editor and most web browsers
- publishing presentations via the web is already included! No need to create pdf versions or ugly web versions of your presentations.
- it's free :) and open, which means that you may do anything you like with it.
Check out this presentation I created with it.
Download phpslide as tar.bzip (5 KB) or
zip (7 KB). Each of these archives contains all the files you need, plus an installation and usage manual.
Extract it as follows:
tar xvjf phpslide.tar.bz2
for the bzip and
unzip phpslide.zip
for the zipped version on most linux systems. This will yield a directory (phpslide) which contains everything.
