newaliases - rebuild the data base for the mail aliases file

SYNOPSIS

newaliases

DESCRIPTION

newaliases rebuilds the random access data base for the mail aliases file /etc/aliases. It is run automatically by sendmail.8 (in the default configuration) whenever a message is sent.
